Delete your account

In the app

1. Open SafeSpace and sign in.
2. Tap the Me tab, then Settings.
3. At the very bottom, tap Delete account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete account.

Your account becomes unavailable right away. The erasure finishes in the background.

Without the app

The same Settings exist on the web, at app.appsafespace.com. Sign in with the account you use in the app, then follow the same steps.

If you can no longer sign in, write to us with the email address tied to your account and your username. We reply by email.

What is deleted

Deleting your account removes:

• your account and the credentials you sign in with;
• your profile;
• your messages, posts and reactions in every space and organization;
• your journal;
• your settings, your notifications and your blocked list.

Your personal data is erased from active servers within 30 days, then from backups at the next rotation cycle. Security logs the law requires us to keep are retained as the Privacy Policy describes.

Content other people already received may remain in their history; they can delete it on their end.

This cannot be undone.
